Hey there 👋

I’m Sharath Challa, a software engineer who enjoys building systems that sit between complexity and users and making that complexity usable.

Most of my work has been around execution-heavy platforms. This includes internal developer portals, infrastructure abstractions, telemetry-driven systems, and products where reliability and clarity take precedence over flashy features. I enjoy working closely with the problem, thinking through system boundaries, and transforming complex requirements into something teams can actually rely on.

Alongside my day-to-day engineering work, I started v12labs as a way to explore building and shipping early-stage systems end-to-end. Through that, I’ve worked on MVPs and platform ideas in ambiguous problem spaces where technical decisions have real downstream consequences, and there is no room to over-engineer.

I’m generally curious about how complex systems behave once they are in use. I enjoy understanding how software is deployed, operated, and evolved, especially when it needs to balance performance, reliability, and ease of use.

I’m based in Hyderabad, India, and I enjoy building things, learning by doing, and sharing what I pick up along the way.
